And to get your mouth watering well in advance, Rob's already contacting next year's Supporters! Several of the larger players (Specialized, for one) need a year's notice to get involved in gatherings like this, so he's on the job! Thanks. Rob, for all you're doing!

This is the site of the (in)famous "Kickyabutt Tour," held annually for the past four years. MNScott, Kincannondale and Talimena Tammy are intimately familiar with the course - it's coming highly recommended!

The location also features great MTB trails at Oachita, very close to QW Lodge - Let's do both! After all, there is no mountain biking. There is no road biking. There is only biking!

Final Itinerary (subject to change, of course!)
Friday, September 24
Gathering throughout the day, setting up camp/checking into Lodge, etc.
5:00 p.m. Evening ride - Short spin from the Lodge to Castle Rock Vista and back (about 20 miles return), with stops at the State Line and Pioneer Cemetery, and points in between
7:00 p.m. Pot Luck Pasta Supper - Pasta provided, bring whatever else ya got that goes with pasta, or doesn't go, who cares! Share great food and life stories, install your red tires (so you can go faster), wheelie and granny-gear-sprint contests, and all kinds of carousing and frolicking!
Saturday, September 25
8:00 a.m. Real Canadian Pancake Breakfast - We'll fire up a couple of griddles and whip up some Real Canadian Flapjacks! With Real Canadian maple syrup! And Real Canadian butter! Served by Real Canadians! Really! Bring your own juice/milk/hair of the dog and get the last carbo load before the Big Ride!
9:00 a.m. Depart on the Ride of the Day - Choose the Talimena Scenic Century or join any of the other rides being planned by the local folks. Thanks to Royshiro, MNScott, Kincannondale, and Talimena Tammy for their unselfish contributions. You're the BEST!!!
6:00 p.m. Recovery Round-up - Gather at the campsite for bench racing, sampling recovery drinks and snacks, belly up to the Starvin' Marvin Pot Luck Buffet, and get ready for the evening festivities.
8:00 p.m. BikeJournal Bop Prizes, Prizes, Prizes! Awards for all kinds of goofy stuff, and door prize schwag galore! We'll have a laptop and projector to show Kin's and other's photos/videos of the rides, and just generally kick back for the evening. The festivities will be graciously hosted by Kincannondale, doing his finest David Letterman impression, and Rob01, doing his finest Monte Hall routine!
Sunday, September 26
Breakfast on your own...
10:00 a.m. Second Century and More - Depart for another spectacular century, or any number of options. Maybe offer the option of an early shuttle north to do the Three States Ride... Maybe ride to the West End and back, or head down to the flats...
Some may need to head home today, some may choose to stay. It'll be a great day for winding down or winding up. After the ride eat the left-overs and relax, or pack up and head for home.
