February Century!
On February 16 three intrepid travellers set out on a beautiful day, to ride from as far up the Cameron Lake Road as they could get to Lethbridge, then back towards Magrath until the magic 100 mile mark rolled up on the computers.

The temperature was -4C at the start, with more ice than pavement on the road, but things warmed up rapidly as they descended to the Waterton townsite. By the time they rode out of the park everyone was overheating, so a quick adjustment to clothing was enacted. As cooler heads prevailed the fearsome threesome caught a sweet tailwind and blew down the road, holding cruising speeds in the 40 km/h range.

At Cardston one of the three bailed, citing "family obligations" as a poor but valid excuse. And since your humble author was that rider, all he can tell you is that the remaining the terrible twosome managed to crush the 5-hour mark, driving into a stiff headwind for the last 30 km. Congrats to Rob and Bart, the reigning heros of the day! Click here for a very short photo essay.
