Disclaimer

Attendance at ReUnion '05 is voluntary. This ride is not sponsored by or affiliated with any club, company, corporation, internet entity or site, person, animal, vegetable, or mineral.

YOU WILL RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK, CAMP AT YOUR OWN RISK, STAY AT INNS AT YOUR OWN RISK, EAT, SLEEP, BREATHE, AND PERFORM ALL OTHER BODILY FUNCTIONS AND HUMAN AND MECHANICAL INTERACTIONS AT YOUR OWN RISK! DON'T BE STUPID!

This ride will take place on open highways that will have real cars, trucks, busses, motorhomes, and any number and type of vehicular conveyances travelling without notification that you are on the road at that time. The roads are maintained in varying degrees of repair and may have obstructions and hazards of any type. Keep your eyes open, don't ride faster than you have skills for, keep the shiny side up, and try not to hit any or all of the hazards, obstructions, and vehicular conveyances.

All sponsors and any volunteers or other organizations who participate by donating materials, products, time, talents, money, or small furry animals will not be held responsible for your ignorance, stupidity, irresponsibility, sign of the zodiac, birth order, or any and all infirmities mental, physical, or spiritual that you may bring with you or acquire while on this ride. Even if you really DO want to use such as an excuse for blaming someone else for the consequences of your own choices while attending this ride.

Wear a helmet, wear your seatbelt, wear the "appropriate protection" while doing anything considered dangerous, risky, or downright stupid by any reasonable person. Don't drink and drive. Call your mother. Do a good turn daily. Lube your chain.

If you are injured or your property is damaged at any time for whatever reason at all during this weekend, be prepared to personally pay for the necessary repairs to your person or your stuff, 'cause they ain't nobody else gonna look after you. We ain't your daddy OR your mamma! There is no release to sign, because there is nobody to release. Legally, you're on your own.

Any questions?

There is humor in the above post, and we trust that you all recognize that this is just a group of cyclists who met on BikeJournal that are going on a ride or two in July. You're all welcome to tag along. We may even have fun!
